A lonely soul like me could not confide
In a crowded room I felt my insides chime
Not willing to stay amongst the dull
I left before I start to gag
Longing for a place I could belong
I was shoved away for so long
Unknowingly I found my way
To a secret place where the Sphinx has lay
The trials commenced to see my worth
Me who questions my own growth
Yet the Sphinx saw me for what I am
And accepted me like a precious lamb
To the Sphinx I owe my strength
My progress and my wealth
Amongst confidentiality, Showered me with confidence
And armed me with knowledge
Hoorah! I cry for the Sphinx’s gifts
Hoorah! Before I leave the safety of your wings
Your secrets are mine, and I become my own
The mythical creature has taught me, to be a mythic of my own.
