Maybe in the afterlife
When all else fall into place
I can finally confess my love
Boldly and without fear

Maybe in the afterlife
You can finally understand
Why I did what I did
I had to look away

Maybe in the afterlife
When people become more accepting
You’ll finally accept all of me

Maybe in the afterlife
We’ll find our way into each other again
