Ocean of Thoughts

Dear God,
The farther I go the more I understand
The trials and tribulations were there to prepare me
For the storm that’s upcoming
So, as I brave the oceans
I will not pray for better weather
Nor vanilla waters and happy swimmings
Let the waves go higher than the mountains
I only pray you give me the strength
To keep my head above the waters
Wherever you may call me
And don’t let me drown
