Ocean of Thoughts

They say take the road
Far less traveled by
The one of the two choices
Only, that they provide

But what is it in these two roads?
Already made for us to choose
I myself cannot forsee
Taking any of these for me

Let me forge my own path
The one that will take me to places
The one not many will understand
But the fulfillment for me is vast
No matter where the road ends

Let me slide down the slopes
Climb up to mountains off the road
Swim the vast oceans apart
And lay upon the flowers off the track

For how does one find hidden gems
In paths already forged by another beforehand?
Let me explore a place to call my own
Tracks made fresh by myself, alone
