When you want to hold on to innocence
But your body tells you otherwise
They grow in certain ways
Which do not entertain
The host it seems
You are at lost
Because your body grows
Faster than your mind does so
You want to enjoy the little things
But your body lead you to responsibilities
Naked as you have come in to this world
Covered you shall be ’til your final word
If your lucky enough, that is
When you’re young
They say your body is a cerub
But grown
They say your body is a crime
Better cover those, they say
You knew how to cover
Even before you knew how sex works
The tragedy is that your innocence
Only sees beauty
But their lust see
Objectifying the human body
Confused and guilty
The host feels guilty
Wheter to use her body to her advantage
Because the world pushed her to the corner
Nothing pleases the world
Especially when you’re awoman
But what am I to do?
My body continues to grow
I was thought to take care of it well
Why am I being punished for looking nice?
As a result of such care for the human vessel?
The body is a gift
A gift from above
Why does the world torment me
Of caring for it with such love
Cover up, but not too much
When you cover up too much
You deserve to be isolated
When you show to much
You deserve to be ravaged
They are conditioned
To think that way
Fools they are
Slaves of the world
