Ocean of Thoughts

I wish I could write a new law to allow same sex marriage, or civil union in our country. Where I live, the LGBTQIA+ community are only tolerated and hence, had to strive more to be accepted by society. One had to be pretty/handsome, smart, have a social standing, earn good money. If an LGBT does not have any of those things then they are likely to be discriminated anywhere they go. That’s why I want to push through this law to provide additional security/protection for the members of the LGBT, but only in civil marriage so as it does not have to encroach the rights of religious groups.
